Common Classes with spell paths include the Sorcerer, Shaman, Cleric, Wizard, Oracle, and Witch classes. Spells are also sorted into different schools. Lich is best as a sorcerer/dd/monk gish though. Angel is best with oracle by a long shot. You want spontaneous casters for the merged list ideally since it adds a ton of spells which covers your main weakness. And since lich/angel have the best spells for blasting you can focus on taking utility spells from your class without falling behind.
